Lanark Quaker Meeting

Meeting for Worship

1st and 3rd Sundays at 10.30am at:

Wiston Lodge
Wiston, BIGGAR
ML12 6HT

Wiston is about 12 miles south-east of Lanark and 7 miles south-west of Biggar. It is about one hour's drive from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling. Wiston Lodge is a beautiful setting for our meetings, with a special atmosphere to it, but is not easy to reach by public transport on a Sunday. The building is accessible for most people, with all facilities, including a disabled toilet, on a single level.

Information for Visitors

New Lanark World Heritage Village: Social pioneer Robert Owen's 200 year old cotton mill and village and Falls of Clyde Nature Reserve. First Sunday in September Victorian Fair. Biggar: Gladstone Court Museum - indoor street museum, shops and school room. Purves Puppet Theatre.
