PEWG Discerned Priorities 2026-2028

Scottish Reparations for Slavery

Open meeting with Irene Mosota (Chair, Edinburgh Slavery and Colonialism Legacy Review) and Edwina Peart (Quaker Inclusion and Diversity Coordinator).

Drawing on Quaker practices, this event addresses the legacy of slavery and colonialism in Scotland, and considers potential routes to reparations.

Quakers join with SCCS to lobby Scottish politicians on climate

Thursday, 25 September, 2025

Several Friends joined with over 250 others from across Scotland to speak to our MSPs in a mass climate lobby. Divided into regions to speak to our politicians, 27 MSPs attended to have conversations about climate on the day, with follow-ups by email afterwards.
